Ջահաերթ Արցախում / Torch march in Artsakh — commemoration victims of Armenian Genocide

In April Armenians all over the world commemorate the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey. On the  evening April 23 with a demands of compensation and justice in Artsakh took place torch march, more than thousands young people with the torch and candles form  Stepanakert’s St. Jacob church  moved to Stepanakert’s Memorial. During the march they called for justice and compensation. During the march, people in there windows and balconys burnt candles.

This is important, that mostly young people participated in the march, because it’s important that the spirit of justice and demands will transfer to new generation, that they’ll never forget greatest tragedy in 1915 and and the injustice after it. Armenians all over the world still waiting for justice. The struggle for justice in all times is sacred. This is important not only for Armenians, but also for all humanity, that such crimes will never be again. The offender must be punished, otherwise he will repeat and will do new crimes.

Children in the war or “unchildhood generation”

Today I saw some photos  from Artsakh liberation  in the internet and it reminded me the war. I was child when it’s begun. It was horrible. I always try to forget that terrible memories, but it can’t be deleted from memory. Four long and horrible years from my childhood has been spent during wartime. It’s really terrible and hard, when begins to realize the death  in so early age. I was sixth years old when there begun shooting and bombing my own town and we was forced to hide in basements and underground. Anybody who didn’t saw the war can’t imagine how it is awful at day and night hearing that terrible sound of missiles and bombs blasting nearby and realized that one of that missiles can dropped on your home and destroyed your home and killed you and your family. And when the next day you are walking in the streets and looking at destroyed buildings and houses, you just thanks  God, that you  and your family still alive. It’ s hard when begin to think, that close and beloved people who are now with you, maybe you couldn’t to see them anymore. It hard even for adults to realize the death and have so much stress, for child it much more harder.

But the most bad thing is, that the world has forgotten about us, even when the war was over. Anybody’s didn’t care about thothend children, who had so harmful and bad experience in the war. The war made a lot of psychological and medical harms  in children at war. We didn’t get any care, especially psychological care and we was condemned to overcome ourselfs all the psychological and other problems which we’ve gotten  inside during the war.

My generation lost their childhood. Instead of cheerful childhood we was forced to hide from the missiles, instead of listening fairytales we forced to hear the awful sounds of missiles, instead of playing the games in the streets we was hiding in the underground, instead of playing with toys we was playing with the guns and the bullets. Me and people over my age is “unchildhood generation”. Childhood is most bright, careless, beautiful and cheerful time for all men kind. I didn’t see it and all children over  my age in my country didn’t see, it surely left its bad stamps in our life.

Evryone who want talk about poor Azerbajani refugees should remind about us, about children in the war, whom they wanted to kill, but survived in cruel war, in the war for life. Yes, surely, for life, because Azerbajani forces wanted just kill all Armenians in Artsakh as they did it in Sumgait, Baku, Gandzak, Maragha and many other places. They was bombing homes and houses, schools and hospitals, they just wanted to destroy Stepanakert and kill everyone there. I remember when one day after bombing i was back to my school I’ve found my classroom destroyed.  Stepanakert was all in ruins. We just survived thanks to brave people who gave there life for our life, for our freedom.

Armenian  people didn’t want that war, we just wanted  freedom, we thought that we can get it  in peaceful way, with a peaceful meetings and demand, but our enemy didn’t want to understand civil diamonds and begun bombing our towns and villages and killing Armenian men children and women. We was forced to defend our homes and life. I’m clearly remember the first missiles, which was dropping in my city destroying many homes and killing peaceful people it was surprised for everyone an terrible surprise, I remember the chaos and scare which was all around.

Real story about Armenian-Turk (Azerbajani) so-called “friendship”

Թողնել մեկնաբանություն

This is  the Armenian-Turk so-called “friendship”   real story, based on my grandmather story which was happened in real. In 1920th, when the Soviet authority had just came tօ Artsakh and after the Soviet heads in 1923. unfair, illegal  decision, which  Armenian Artsakh forced to include in Soviet Azerbaijan, there has been begun Armenian-Tatar (at that time there was no Azerbajani nation and Caucasuis Turks was calling Caucasius Tatars or just muslims) reconciliation process: My grandfather’s father’s brother, Gregory Galstyan, was in that  reconciliation group,  he had the organizational skills and was cleaver man, he lead self-difending operation of K’rkjan village  during Arminan-Tatar clashes in 1912 and Artsakh Armenian massacere by Turks (Azerbajanis) in 1918. Among  Committee members were a the Tatar-Turks (Azrbajanis) and Armenians (mention, that at that time there still havn’t  Azrbajani nation), Grigor’s made good friendly relations with an Turk (Azerbaijani), who was the so-called other side reconciler. They frequently visit each other and they ussially had food together .  One day the Turks (Azerbajani) so-called “friend” invited Grigor in his house and they had some food there. And so called “Turk friend:”  poisoned his food and killed him, an act of  fraud and guile, which is suitable and common for Turks.

Now European states, America and other civilized world deceived by Turks with their tricks pretending civilized,  but Armenians know the true face of  Turks and thire violence, the world must understand, that now we  don’t want to live side-by-side with them, Turks typical charecter is killing, spoliation, insidious and vandalism.

And this story  must be a proof for so-called extremely tolerant Armenians, who still think that there could be friendship between Armenians and Turks, tհis real story prove that Turk never can be a friand for Armenian, no matter what is the reason or condition of that “friendship”. In Artsakh there is an adage “When you make friendship with Turk  always keep a stick in your hand”  and I think this words express all the truth about Armenian and Turks relation.

A short about K’rkjan village. It’s old Armenian village, where was living Armenians for centuries. According to some sources in this village was born Rostom a famous Armenian bodyguard of French emperor Napoleon. At the begining of 20th century Turkish-Tatar slaughterers after the Armenian massacres in Shushi, go out for Shushi city and began to killing Armenians and destroying Armenian  villages in the surrounding area, K’rkzhane was one of  near by  Shushi villages  (now it’s included in the administrative area of the city of Stepanakert) also underwent Turks violence attacks, due to self-defense battles, the people managed to leave the village and after years Armenians came backed there and built there  their homes again near by   the Turks, who has came there after Armenians was forced to  leave K’rkjan.

International media’s wrong policy and behavior to Artsakh

Թողնել մեկնաբանություն

International media rarely gives correct and objective information about Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). All international media commenting Nagorno Karabakh issue and nagotiation proces, representing Artsakh from the view of Azerbajani propaganda and representing Artsakh as a so called “brakway region of Azerbajan” (I think, that they have forgotten, that in any period, there were no any state named Azerbaijan in the world map where was included Artsakh) and they never talking about the true historical and judical facts, inhuman polacy of Sovet Azerbajan agianst Armenians and the rights of people in Artsakh. International media is often talking about Azerbajani refugees, wich is one of the results of Azerbajan’s agresy against Artsakh and Armenia, but they always have forgotten about hundreds of thousand of Armenian refugees and about thouthends civelian people of Artsakh killed during war by Azerbajan’s bombs and rockets. It seems that for international media and international community the smell of oil is more sharper, than the smell of blood and the oil have more higher value than the truth and human life.
Such wrong policy and behavior by international community can bring new regional tensions and new tragedies.

This TV report about Artsakh, made by French TV-chanel “France24”, one of the rare reports, where gives comparatively real and true comments about Artsakh.

During the entire pre-election campaign and on election day there were no notable and serious infringements.

According to judgments of the observers, the election were free and fair, and reflected the democratic will of the people of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Republic.

The judgement of the elections by the International Oserevers is following:

The European Friends of Armenia Observer Mission that included members of the European Parliament, journalists and other public figures, welcomed the conduct of elections in Artsakh. They announced that the elections was transparent, democratic  and called on the international community to appreciate these efforts and provide technical assistance for election and observation in future elections.

In these elections the people of Artsakh proved that they are strongly standing on their goal to have and to create an independent, free and democratic country.
